Originally from Nairn, Alison completed her education at the University of Aberdeen. Alison qualified as a Solicitor in 2010. She completed her traineeship in Orkney and thereafter practised in Inverness before returning to her native Nairn, joining R & R Urquhart in 2013. Alison is based in our busy Court Department dealing with a wide range of family law and civil matters. Internally Alison assists the Partners of the firm whilst running her own case load. Alison is comfortable with dealing with highly complex family and civil matters and is always keen to resolve matters in the most cost effective and time efficient way for the benefit of her clients.
Out of the office Alison enjoys charity work and has been involved in helping out at her local citizen's advice bureau. Alison also enjoys writing, the theatre and spending time with her family and friends.
Lindsey is based in our Land Team and deals with wide variety of conveyancing transactions, including purchases and sales of farms, forestry, sporting estates and development sites. Lindsey holds an LLB Honours degree from the University of Aberdeen and was admitted as a solicitor in 1998. Having worked with Thorntons Law LLP in Perth and Dundee for nearly a decade, she took a break from conveyancing in 2008 and completed a Master of Arts Degree in History, with Distinction at Dundee University, whilst working part-time in estate agency. After completing the MA, Lindsey spent a year working in Personal Injury Law before moving to Moray in 2012. In her spare time, Lindsey enjoys a variety of outdoor pursuits and can regularly be spotted out walking (and cycling!) with her Bearded Collie.
