Agriculture, Estates & Crofting
With roots going back to 1829, we have long-standing connections with owners and occupiers of land. We are proud to have continued a tradition of being able to represent the farming and crofting communities whether it be landlord, tenant or owner/occupier not only in dealing with conventional issues but those evolving as a result of modern farming and diversification practices.
The Firm represents a significant number of Estates in the North of Scotland, and is well placed to offer a full legal and management service to Estate businesses beyond agriculture and crofting including matters relating to forestry, sportings, renewable energy, development, access, minerals and conservation.
We have also established a reputation for handling Land Court, Lands Tribunal and Court of Session litigation as well resolving issues through arbitration and mediation.
